Esperanza depends upon your donations to continue our ministries. Please note the following mini-biographies and choose the minstry you believe the Lord is leading you to support. The funds will be routed to the ministry you select.

  Esperanza Del Rio Community Church - This is a church plant being led by Pastor Jim Wilson. Jim is bi-vocational. He teaches Ethics/Philosophy at the Junior College in Del Rio. The Wilson family was commissioned and sent by Open Door Baptist Church of Raleigh, NC. Esperanza has sponsored sports camps since June of 2005 as a means to connect with the community. The church celebrated her Grand Opening on 12/6/2009. Your donations will help the church with operational and evangelistic expenses while we work to disciple the people in Del Rio, TX  and Acuna, Mexico in Christ.
Sembradores - This is a mission work in the state of Zacatecas, Mexico. It is led by Ben Ellliott and his wife Diana. The Elliotts are members of Esperanza Del Rio. Ben is bi-vocational. He teaches High School Spanish. They plan to move to Zacatecas for full time ministry as soon as the Lord permits. The target is the summerr of 2012. Meanwhile the Elliott family visits and ministers in several villages of Zacatecas during every school break. Your donations will support those trips and other ministry needs. Oasis de Esperanza Biblical Counseling Center - Jeff Oliver and his family have been commisioned and sent by Open Door Baptist Church to assist us in our ministry at Esperanza. Jeff is bi-vocational. He works as a Sales Representative at RAm Country Dodge/Toyota in Del Rio. Jeff an Amy lead our Children's Ministry. Jeff also leads our counseling ministry, which is a critical need in this spiriutally impoverished community. The local culture leads to many family problems that Jeff is hoping to alleviate with biblical counsel for the whole family.
